This is a painting of rattlesnake lake taken on  a boat. There is a stump in the foreground followed by water trees on the hillside and the sky with clouds in the background. The closer the trees and stumps the more detailed they are.

This is my spooky tree painting that is four layers of different shades of blue. It goes from light in the far back to the darkest shade in the front the trees are bigger in the front and dwindle in size as you look farther back into the painting. I used yellows greens and violet to add details to the first two layers of the trees trying to show dimension and give an understanding of the surface and texture of the trees.

The purple and yellow I used in this are complimentary which really makes them pop off the paper. This is a story that represents the area I live in the northwest.

The colors really flow together both being bright colors that attract your attention. This has straight edges that create a geometric feel to the notan.

I used yellow and pink in my two color notan which creates a pleasant vibe to it on the subtle blue background. I used straight edges and curves to create this symetrical two color notan.

The message hidden within this collage is: who are you? Finding out who you are is an important part if life you can do anything or be anything you want to and this describes what you can be.

The symmetry in this collage is between red and orange. The same size and shape of the cut outs are opposite on each side of the line of symmetry that is slightly off to the left.  It is more like a mirror image of each other across the line of symmetry.

There are three layers in my collage which gives the illusion of depth of things being hidden in the background of the stuff up front. I used all different types of shades of yellow from neon to golden with some off the darker in the back and the lighter towards the front to create space.
